BLINKING OWL HOLIDAY PUNCH

(Serves 12)

1 750mL bottle Blinking Owl OC Orange Vodka

14 oz Cranberry Juice

7 oz Holiday Spiced Syrup

7 oz Lemon Juice

I bottle sparkling wine (we love sparkling Rose)

Garnish: Get festive! Add cranberries, orange slices, star anise or other holiday toppings.

Grab your a festive punch bowl or beverage dispenser. Add the OC Orange Vodka, Cranberry juice, Spiced syrup, and lemon juice and stir. Top with sparkling wine. We suggest refrigerating/chilling all ingredients prior to serving or pour over ice. Raise a glass of holiday cheers!

Holiday Spiced Syrup:

1 cup water

1 cup sugar

1 cinnamon stick

1 teaspoon allspice berries

1 star anise

Start by warming a small saucepan over medium heat and add the cinnamon stick, allspice berries, and star anise. Stir around until fragrant (approx 30 sec—watch and make sure they do not burn) then add the water and simmer for 5 min. Add the sugar and stir until it dissolves.

Remove from the heat and cool to room temperature. If you’ve planned ahead, you can transfer the syrup with the spices into a covered container to sit overnight in the refrigerator. Once syrup has cooled, strain through a fine-mesh sieve into your container. Syrup can be stored up to 1 month.

PINK MOON

• 1.5 oz Blinking Owl Vodka
• 0.5 oz Snug Harbor Falernum
• 0.5 oz Lemon juice
• 1-2 dashes Angostura bitters.

Dry shake the cocktail, pour in glass and then add ice

Garnish with mint

THE AQUAVENUS

• 2 oz Blinking Owl Aquavit
• 0.5 oz Blinking Owl vodka
• 0.5 oz Lillet Blanc

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice. Stir until well-chilled and strain into a coupe glass

Express an orange peel over the drink, scent the rim of the glass, and discard the peel

Slap a sprig of thyme in the palm of your hand to express aromatic oils and drop in glass as garnish

OC ORANGE MULE

• 1.5 oz OC Orange Vodka
• 3 oz Gingerbeer (your favorite brand)
• 1/4 oz Fresh lime juice

Pour the OC Orange Vodka and lime juice in a glass

Top with ginger beer and swizzle with spoon or stir stick

Take a fresh bunch of mint into the palms of you hand and lightly slap to release oils and aromatics

Garnish with mint and orange peel

BLINKING COSMO

• 2 ounces OC Orange Vodka
• 1 ounce cranberry juice
• ½ ounce fresh lime juice
• ½ ounce simple syrup

Lemon twist, lime wedge, or orange peel, for garnish

Combine vodka, cranberry juice, lime juice, and simple in a cocktail shaker over ice, and shake vigorously

Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lemon twist, lime wedge, or orange peel

THE PARLIAMENT

• 1 ½ oz OC Orange Vodka
• 0.5 oz Falernum
• 0.5 oz St. George Bruto Americano
• 1 teaspoon crushed cocoa nibs

Add all ingredients and ice to your mixing glass and stir

Double strain the cocktail (pouring through a fine mesh strainer) into a coupe

Garnish with Star Anise
